The Wheelchair Getaways in Colorado

Scamming Handicapped people with no other options

My Experience

Bait and Switch

I reserved the "" and when I arrived it wasn't there. Instead they gave me a 2003 Dodge Caravan, the smelled and was not even close to what I reserved

Insecurity

image20

I honestly was terrified to drive this vehicle from Denver to Colorado Springs to visit my Great Grandchildren. It made lots of strange noises while driving and did not handle well at all.

Ruined Vacation

image21

I planned to stay for 10 days and cut my vacation short, because of the cloth seats. I have to slide from captains chair to my wheel chair and this process was so painful because I couldn't slide on cloth. I am 83 and handicapped and my wife and I were in tears for having to cancel out trip, never knowing if we will be able to do this again.

Outrageous Pricing

image22

I had booked this van for 10 Days and not only did I not get the van I reserved, but I had to pay the same price for something of inferior quality. I paid $1,500  for this rental. I see a used version of what they gave me all over the net for as little as $700. I could have just bought another 2003 caravan.

Terrible Appearance

image23

So not only did I not get what I reserved, The vehicle i received had faded paint, dirt all over the inside, a terrible smell and a huge advertising sticker on the windows. When I rent a car I don't expect adds on the windows when paying $1,500. This vehicle was so embarrassing to drive.
